Cleaning Supervisor - Bourke

Joss Facility Management has been successful in obtaining the Whole of Government Facilities Management Services Cleaning Contract across multiple parcels throughout regional NSW, which includes this area.   This Contract commences on 1st March 2019, operating until 31st December 2023.

As such, Joss Facility Management are seeking value oriented people to apply for the full time position of Cleaning Supervisor in the Bourke and surrounding region.

The main duties of the role include:

  • Overseeing the day-to-day cleaning operations according to contractual requirements,
  • Managing, training and mentoring team members,
  • Management of departmental labour and consumable budgets,
  • Actively promoting a positive and safe work environment,
  • Building and maintaining effective client relationships, managing client requests and complaints,
  • Participate in risk management activities
  • Responding to general cleaning, periodical, preventative and emergency incidents or queries

The successful applicant will have previous experience in the cleaning industry and be able to demonstrate:

  • An ability to provide clear direction and leadership to team
  • Excellent time management
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft products
  • The ability to lead a team whilst working closely with Management

Applicants must hold a current drivers licence, must be able to pass a National Police Check, Pre-Employment Medical and obtain a paid Working with Children Check prior to commencement. Accredited NSW RTW Training and a Certificate IV in Asset Management is also highly desirable.

Remuneration package by negotiation based on above criteria. A motor vehicle & mobile phone will be provided to the successful applicant.
