Brambles Archival warehouse is a 10,000m2 building designed for high density storage of hardcopy records.
This was a design and construct project that involved high walls of 10 metres that allowed for a raking system to the underside of the roof. Works included were extensive, civil works for carparking and hardstand areas and covered unloading and loading canopy, also a unique stormwater retention lake of 1.5mgl for landscaping and lawn irrigation.
Included within the building were sorting and review rooms, as well as 400m2 on two levels. A high level of security was also incorporated into this project to complement the service offered by the client, that being secure document storage.
