Leeton Market Plaza is a purpose built shopping centre specifically designed to suit the evolving changes and requirements of modern shopping centres. The facility was constructed on a site of 16,285m2 and the total building measures 5,684m2. A vital part of the design was adjusted to suit the strict guidelines of the anchor tenant; Franklins Supermarket and the additional 21 specialty stores. Externally the Plaza consists of a car park to hold 185 cars and designated traffic ways for trucks to access the specialty loading dock.
The base building design is a concrete floor slab with pre cast wall panels with a structural steel frame. The entry portico and verandahs at the front entry assist in providing an inviting appearance for all visitors and users alike.
The Mechanical and Electrical design was managed by Joss Construction to ensure full compliance with the Clients' requirements whilst providing flexibility to evolve as the Principal signed Leases during construction of the project.
Internally the Plaza consists of a tiled floor with powder coated glazing to the shop fronts, tenancies are divided by plasterboard linings with steel stud frames and a suspended ceiling with drop in tiles.
